Every business out there is the next possible victim of cyber crime.

New parents are often in the habit of creating a healthy home environment for their newest member of the family. Recently, what has made Trend Micro a great place to work for these employees is having a program that extends this environment into the workplace, helping new parents achieve a more seamless transition back to the office when ready.

The Texas Mother-Friendly Worksite Program, administered by the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS), has designated our worksites in Irving and Austin, Texas with its Silver award, recognizing our recent efforts to support employees who maintain breastfeeding after returning to work.

Trend Micro has implemented various written policies and initiatives for new parents to ease these employees back into their work schedules without affecting the new member of the family. With this designation, we have joined a growing number of Mother-Friendly employers across the state who proactively support employees who choose to breastfeed their infants by providing flexible work schedule time, private space, hygienic storage and other support in the workplace to maintain the breastfeeding process.

Our mission is to always cultivate the best service for our customers, and certainly, our employees. Through our participation in the Mother-Friendly Worksite Program, Trend Micro is able to give back to our employees, provide robust health benefits and add value to their work environment in new ways.
